Wedge prisms

Wedge prisms (also known as optical wedges) are optical devices with inclined slopes. They are mainly used for beam control and offset in the optical field. The inclination angle between the two surfaces of a wedge prism is relatively small.

It can deflect the optical path towards the thicker side. If only one wedge prism is used, it can offset the incident optical path by a certain angle. When two wedge prisms are used in combination, they can function as an anamorphic prism, mainly for correcting laser beams.

In the optical field, wedge prisms are ideal optical path adjustment devices. Two rotatable prisms can adjust the direction of the outgoing beam within a certain range (10°).

We manufacture our products using RoHS - compliant optical glass and coat them with imported vacuum coating equipment. We offer processing services for prisms in various shapes and sizes, as well as customized anti - reflection coating services.
